Summer 2013 Assignments

CEO

Assignment: Design and Documentation of process control and instrumentation systems for commercial scale plants

Qualification: Chemicals/Control Engineering BS or MS program preferred

Experience: thesis or work experience in process design for chemical plants

 

Assignment: Opportunity analysis and site selection for carbon recycling plants in the EU

Qualification: MBA program

Experience: Thesis or work experience in market analysis

 

Assignment: Develop specification of unit operations for standard commercial scale plants

Qualification: Chemical engineering BS or MS program preferred

Experience: Thesis or work experience in plant operations

 

Assignment: Performance monitoring and optimization of the GO plant

Qualification: Chemical/mechanical engineering BS or MS program preferred

Experience: Thesis or work experience in plant operations

 

Assignment: Development of upgrade kits for use of renewable methanol at 50% blend in regular vehicles

Business Operations

Assignment: Scan for EU and Nordic Grant calls and look for partners

Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters Degree in business or engineering

Engineering

Assignment: Design of a tool for capital expenditures estimation for chemical plants

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Process or Mechanical Engineering

Qualifications: Strong Excel Skills, methodical approach to compiling information from multiple sources

Experience: on-site experience is a plus

 

Assignment: Design of a process flow diagram for a future plant

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Process or Mechanical Engineering

Qualifications: Strong AutoCAD or MS Visio Skills

Experience: prior exposition to plant design and equipment sizing (academic or professional) on-site experience is a plus

 

Research and Development

Assignment: Development of advanced flow sheets and intellectual property protection

Qualifications: Chemical or Mechanical engineering BS or MS program preferred

Experience: Coursework or work experience in process design and strong technical writing skills preferred

 

Assignment: Development of heterogeneous gas-to-liquids catalysts

Qualifications: MBA or Engineering/Economics/Business BS or MS program preferred

Experience: Thesis or work experience in modeling

 

Assignment: Budget design and Corporate Planning preparation (Value Drivers, Goals and Objectives)

Summer Internship

We are no longer taking intern applications for the summer 2013 internship program.

We received many high quality candidates this year, thank you for your internship applications.

We will begin taking applications again in December 2013.

The schedule for the internship program is as follows;

December to 15 February – taking applications

February 15- Feb 28 – interviews

March - offers sent out

June to August - internship
