CRI IN THE NEWS

Following recent announcements CRI has attracted widespread attention by foreign media.

CRI’s activity in China prompted a correspondent from Swedish public radio station - Sveriges Radio - to visit the George Olah Renewable Methanol Plant and conduct an interview with CRI’s Director of Business Development Benedikt Stefánsson.  Two separate segments were aired, one with special emphasis on green technology development in China and the other on the concept of carbon capture and utilisation in general.

In December, the successful testing of methanol-fuelled sedan vehicles was comprehensively covered by media outlets in and out of Iceland. Fleet tests conducted by CRI staff, members of the Icelandic Automobile Association and several other local service providers in the auto industry have demonstrated the Geely Emgrand’s capacity to meet the demands of modern urban drivers while reducing the emission of CO₂ by more than 70%.
