CARBON RECYCLING INTERNATIONAL SHORTLISTED AS FINALIST FOR S&P GLOBAL PLATTS ENERGY AWARDS

The S&P Global Platts Energy Awards has announced that Carbon Recycling International’s (CRI) Emissions-to-Liquids (ETL) technology has been selected as a finalist for the S&P Global Platts Energy Awards, as Commercial Technology of the Year. The renowned prize, awarded annually since 1999, recognizes innovation, leadership, and outstanding performance of businesses in the energy and fuel industry.

A panel of jurors, which consists of international energy experts and industry leaders, found that CRI’s ETL technology represents a commercially applied innovation with a demonstrated significance in relation to emission reduction, reliability, and commercial success. CRI commissioned its first industrial-scale plant in 2012 and the design of the first commercial-scale ETL facility, in Anyang city, Henan province, China, started earlier this year.

With hundreds of nominations from across the world, the S&P Global Platts Energy Awards are among the industry’s most prestigious worldwide. Often described as the “Oscars of the energy industry”, the award is not only a recognized hallmark of excellence but also an indication of major trends in the energy industry.

The winners of the prestigious award will be announced during a ceremony in December, which will be convened entirely online for the first time in its history.
