CRI AWARDED A 350.000 USD GRANT FOR TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT

CRI has been awarded a grant of 350,000 USD from the Icelandic Technology Development Fund for the development and engineering of the next generation of our ETL technology.

Since our company founding back in 2006 we have been fortunate to have received several public grants to support the development and demonstration of our Emissions-to-Liquids technology to convert CO₂ to sustainable methanol.

Those grants have been awarded through competitive research funds such as the EU Horizon 2020 program and the Icelandic Technology Development Fund administered by Rannís - The Icelandic Centre for Research.

This has enabled us to hire specialists and leverage private capital to invest in engineering, building prototypes and operating pilot facilities that are crucial to the deployment of new process technology.

This support has in turn led to successful deployment at commercial scale of a key piece of CCUS technology. This will enable industry to become more sustainable in the coming years and help achieve our common goals of reducing carbon emissions.
